1. Chinese Porcelain(ceramics) Group


  This group meets to study and actively exchange ideas and views on various topics relating to Chinese pottery. From April 2003, the group has studied by examining actual pieces of pottery and exchanging data with each other once a month.







 
2. Old Korean Stone Sculptures Group

In November 1997 the Ewha Womans University Museum held a temporary exhibition titled ¡°The Power of Old Korean Stone Sculptures.¡± From that time, a group of artists and scholars who realized the need to preserve Korea¡¯s stone sculptures came together and formed this group.

This group studies and preserves Korea¡¯s stone sculptures, and strives hard to inform the world about the value of these ancient stone works.
 

3. Asian Pottery Forum



The Asian Pottery Forum was formed in October 2000 by those who wished to study the history and artistic value of Onggi following a temporary exhibition titled ¡°Korea¡¯s Third Ceramic Tradition: From Earthenware to Onggi¡± which was held on Sept. 3, 2000 at the Ewha Womans University Museum. Membership in this group is open to anyone who is interested in the history and preservation of Onggi. Members collect data on Onggi, as well as recognize the traditional value and examine the uniqueness of Onggi in order to rediscover the beauty of Korean art.
